AstaReal: Making Complex Science Clear Through Social Design
Designed social media content for Astareal to simplify complex scientific information.
The Challenge
AstaReal is the global astaxanthin brand of Fuji Chemical Industries, a Japanese pharmaceutical and chemical manufacturer. AstaReal specializes in natural astaxanthin and communicates its research, products, applications, and health-related information to a global audience.
Our Approach
We worked on a series of social media designs focused on making complex scientific and product information more accessible, engaging, and visually consistent. The content covered topics ranging from what astaxanthin is and where it comes from to its properties, applications, product formats, research, and company presence.
Our approach combined clean editorial layouts with strong imagery, infographics, diagrams, icons, and structured typography. Scientific information was broken down into digestible visual sections, helping audiences understand everything from astaxanthin's natural origins to its role as a carotenoid and its research-backed properties.
We also designed communication around AstaReal India's global presence, product formats, industry events, and educational content. The visual system balances AstaReal's distinctive red palette with clean white layouts, creating a consistent identity across informative, promotional, and brand-led posts.
The Result
The result is a social media system that makes science easier to understand - combining clarity, credibility, and visual storytelling to communicate a highly technical subject in a more engaging way.
