Poocho: Website Design & Webflow Development for a Research Productivity Platform

The Challenge

Poocho is India's first research productivity platform — a tool designed to help researchers, students, and academics work faster and more effectively across the entire research workflow. The product addresses a real and underserved problem, but it faced a critical hurdle at launch: the existing web presence didn't communicate what Poocho actually does, who it's for, or why it's worth trusting.

In the SaaS and productivity space, trust is earned in seconds. A site that doesn't immediately convey credibility and value — especially in a category as serious as academic research — fails before a visitor even reaches the product. Poocho needed a site that could position them as a legitimate, innovative platform, drive sign-ups from a sceptical audience, and scale gracefully as the product and team grew.

Our Approach

We started with information architecture: mapping the full sitemap and defining clear user journeys for Poocho's core audiences — individual researchers, students, and institutional teams. The structure needed to answer three questions fast: what is this, why does it matter, and how do I get started. Every page was designed around this sequence.

Visually, we built a clean language that balances professionalism with approachability — serious enough to be trusted in an academic context, light enough not to feel intimidating or bureaucratic. The Webflow build prioritised responsiveness across devices, with lightweight animations and smooth transitions that add energy without sacrificing performance. We integrated a CMS setup for the blog and resource section, giving the Poocho team full editorial control without needing to touch code. A modular design system was delivered alongside the build, ensuring every future addition to the site fits seamlessly.

The Result

Poocho launched with a polished, high-conversion website that immediately positions them as a trustworthy and innovative platform. The site clearly communicates the product's value proposition across all key audiences, with structured calls to action that guide visitors toward sign-up at every stage of the journey. The Webflow CMS gives the team autonomy to publish content and update the site independently — removing a common bottleneck for early-stage teams.

Most importantly, the site is built to scale. The modular design system means new pages, features, and sections can be added without starting from scratch. Poocho now has a digital foundation that's as ambitious as the product itself — ready to grow with the platform as it extends its reach across India's research community and beyond.
