The Challenge

Dentsu is one of the world's largest advertising and communications groups, with a brand presence that spans dozens of markets and hundreds of content moments every month. With established visual foundations in place, the challenge wasn't building a system from scratch — it was scaling execution without losing the precision and intentionality that made the brand credible.

Their internal team needed a reliable design partner who could move fast, stay on-brand, and handle the volume of social content required across LinkedIn and Instagram — from thought leadership posts to employee spotlights, hiring announcements, and event promotions. The risk was always drift: too many cooks, too many adaptations, and a cohesive global brand quietly becomes inconsistent noise.

Our Approach

We embedded directly into Dentsu's workflow as a collaborative design extension — not a vendor at arm's length, but an active partner who understood their visual language and could apply it fluently. Early on, we worked with their in-house designers to establish micro-guidelines for social: how to handle bold gradients at different aspect ratios, how typography should scale across content types, and where to allow creative flexibility without breaking visual continuity.

From that foundation, we built a modular layout system that could flex across the full range of content types — employee feature cards, event announcements, market-specific campaigns — while still reading unmistakably as Dentsu. Each deliverable went through a shared review process that kept the in-house team in control while dramatically increasing throughput.

The Result

The ongoing engagement has produced a consistent stream of social content that amplifies Dentsu's brand voice without diluting it. Turnaround times on individual assets reduced significantly, and the in-house team gained a structured visual toolkit they could brief against clearly and confidently.
