Takumi — Framer Website for an AI Consultancy

The Challenge

Takumi is an AI consultancy rooted in the Japanese concept of takumi — meaning mastery or skilled craftsmanship. Their work blends deep technical expertise with thoughtful execution, and they needed a website that could reflect this philosophy while clearly communicating their consulting model and industry expertise.

The challenge was a genuine tension: AI consultancies typically default to either sterile, technical aesthetics that feel cold and impersonal, or futuristic sci-fi visuals that feel generic. Takumi needed neither. They needed a site that felt as considered and precise as the work they do — one that communicated mastery without arrogance, and technology without cliché.

Our Approach

We designed the website in Figma by combining Japanese-inspired design principles with a modern AI-forward aesthetic. The visual language is minimal and intentional — bold typography, structured layouts, disciplined spacing, and refined use of red accents to guide attention without overwhelming the content.

Core concepts like the Takumi 3K Model were translated into clear visual systems to make complex ideas easier to understand at a glance. Every section was designed to earn attention rather than demand it — letting the content lead, with visual hierarchy that rewards careful reading.

The site was then developed in Framer, bringing the design to life with smooth micro-interactions, subtle motion, and a fully responsive experience across devices. From scroll-based transitions to interactive sections, every detail was crafted to feel deliberate and precise — a direct expression of the Takumi philosophy in the medium of the web.

The Result

The result is a modern, confident website that reflects Takumi's commitment to mastery and clarity — blending Japanese design sensibilities with AI innovation, built to scale and ready to evolve. The site launched in three weeks from brief to live, and communicates the depth and precision of Takumi's practice from the first scroll.
