The Challenge

Vettly.ai is an AI-powered recruitment platform built to cut through the noise of modern hiring. It scans resumes for essential skills, scores candidates against job descriptions, and surfaces the strongest matches — so hiring teams spend their time on the right people rather than sifting through stacks. The product was technically sophisticated from day one, but the brand and product experience hadn't caught up.

The team needed two things to happen simultaneously: a brand identity that could establish trust and credibility in an increasingly crowded AI/HR tech market, and a web app UI that made a genuinely complex set of hiring workflows feel simple and intuitive. Neither could be an afterthought — both had to land together for Vettly to position itself as a serious platform.

Our Approach

We started with brand. The identity needed to feel human despite being a deeply AI-driven product — a common tension in this category, and one that's easy to get wrong. We built around a clean logotype that communicates intelligence and precision without the cold, robotic aesthetic that plagues many AI-first brands. The visual language strikes a deliberate balance: sharp enough to signal capability, warm enough to signal that the humans in the loop still matter.

For the web app, we ran a full design process: market research, user journey mapping, low-fidelity wireframes covering the core flows — job posting, candidate pipeline management, interview evaluation, and the credit points system. From there, we developed the complete high-fidelity UI with a consistent component system built for scale. Every screen was designed to reduce cognitive load: the right information at the right time, and nothing more. The dashboard, in particular, was structured to give hiring managers a clear, at-a-glance view of where every candidate stands.

The Result

In two months, Vettly launched with a complete brand and product design that punches well above its stage. The identity holds together across marketing, product, and comms — a single, coherent visual voice.
